Saturday, January 13 - actor Ryan Gosling received the Santa Barbara International Film Festival Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film. The event took place at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara and was a black-tie benefit dinner for Santa Barbara International Film Festival educational programs. Speeches were given by former co-star Steve Carell and Barbie director Greta Gerwig.
