Celebrate the official start of Summer with Santa Barbara’s Summer Solstice Celebration this weekend, June 20–22, 2025! With vibrant art, music, and a dazzling parade themed Wild World, this year's Summer Solstice event is sure to be a fun welcome to the Summer season. As one of the region’s largest art events, the weekend features a Friday night concert, food vendors, and the iconic Saturday parade ending at Alameda Park for a full day of festive fun.
Friday June 20, 4-9PM: Join the Summer Solstice kick off party at Alameda Park, with performances from The Last Decade, The New Vibe, and False Puppet.
Saturday June 21, 12-8PM: Saturday starts off at noon with a parade at Santa Barbara and Ortega Streets, going all the way to Alameda Park. Enjoy creative and and extravagant floats and performers, and fun festivities at the park including live music, entertainment, vendors, food and beverages.
Sunday June 22, 12-7PM: The festivities in the park will continue with a special Reggae twist, featuring performances from several Reggae bands.
The Summer Solstice festival is free and open to the public. A beer and wine garden will be open all 3 days to those 21+.
