These deals are part of a larger transaction involving the sale of 2781/2801 Padaro Lane, which DeGeneres and de Rossi acquired in December 2022 for nearly $70 million, the highest residential sale in South Santa Barbara County history. It is speculated that the Friedlands, who may have purchased this property, required the couple to reclaim the San Ysidro estate as part of the broader deal, resulting in a jaw dropping price of $96 million for 2781/2801 Padaro Lane.
