Teacher's Fund: School Supplies Drive 2025

Teacher's Fund: School Supplies Drive 2025

This week we are spotlighting Teachers Fund, a local nonprofit aimed to help teachers obtain materials and supplies they need to ensure their students thrive. Established in 2002 by Renee Grubb, owner of Village Properties, Teacher's Fund provides teachers grants for several classroom materials including art supplies, dictionaries, books, electronics, and more. Since its inception, the Teacher's Fund has donated over $2.2 million to our Santa Barbara area teachers, granting over $190,000 in just the last school year alone.

Each year prior to the start of the school year, Teacher's Fund holds a School Supplies Drive to collect donations that go toward several items our local teachers are in need of. Sponsorship levels range from $300 to $5,000 and include a mix of marketing exposure, making this event a great way to support both your local business and local education. If you are unable to sponsor but are still interested supporting, you can participate by donating an item, service, or gift card to the Teacher's Fund Silent Auction. The School Supplies Drive will culminate in a fun-filled celebration on September 4th 2025 from 4:30-7pm, including a silent auction, food & drinks, and community.

The DK Group are proud supporters of Teacher's Fund and sponsors of this year's School Supplies Drive, and we're excited to share this opportunity to support local educators and students. If you are interested in sponsoring or donating, click here to learn more.
