As proud supporters of our local community, we’re excited to promote the Sharehouse Grand Opening on Saturday, March 1st! This free event celebrates unity and progress in the fight against food insecurity. Enjoy food trucks, family-friendly activities, and raffles, while seeing how Sharehouse is making a difference in providing essential resources to our neighbors.
The Sharehouse is the Santa Barbara Food Bank's newest food warehouse and education space for the whole community. The new food hub will be able to store more than 750,000 pounds of food, making nearly 585,000 meals available for immediate distribution. In addition to hosting service operations where people can receive or donate food, the Sharehouse will also serve as a community meeting space for their nutrition education programs.
