For years, the Beachside Bar-Café was a beloved fixture in Goleta, known for its unique beachfront dining near the Goleta Pier. When the restaurant closed its doors in 2021, many locals wondered what would come next. But after years of careful planning and renovation, a brand new restaurant is now set to replace the Beachside Bar this Fall: The Ellwood.
The Ellwood promises to continue the Beachside Bar's tradition of oceanfront dining while bringing a fresh new experience to the table. The restaurant will highlight the best of Santa Barbara, with a menu that showcases fresh seafood, local produce, and carefully selected Central Coast wines.
