Experience the Santa Barbara Surf Film Festival this Friday and Saturday, September 26-27 at the Lobero Theatre. Started in 2019, the SBSFF combines cinema, ocean conservation, and community by sharing diverse stories from filmmakers, artists, shapers, and surfers. This festival celebrates Santa Barbara's rich surf culture and history through screenings of new surf films, documentaries, shorts, international films, as well as through panels and in in-person dialogue with the filmmakers.

This year's festival will have special appearances from surfers Lakey Peterson and Shaun Tomson. SBSFF supports local non-profits dedicated to ocean conservation: Heal the Ocean, Surfrider Santa Barbara Chapter, Surf Happens Foundation.
