The Santa Barbara Sea Center’s Ocean Ambassador Beach Cleanup
On the third Sunday of each month, The Sea Center hosts their Ocean Ambassador Beach Cleanup for all locals, ocean lovers, or those who need community service hours. As realtors and residents of Santa Barbara, we understand the value of our natural landscape and the direct impact pollution has on our quality of life. Pollution is a significant threat to our oceans and beaches, negatively impacting wildlife, the environment, and our city’s pristine beauty. The Ocean Ambassador Beach Cleanup is a crucial initiative aimed at combating marine pollution and preserving the health of our coastal community.
The next cleanup event will be held this Sunday, April 21st from 10 AM - 12 PM at East Beach. The meet-up spot is the Skater’s Point and Palm Park parking lot at East Beach. Supplies will be provided if needed, but If you can, please bring your own gloves and bags to reduce waste. People of all ages are welcome to partake in this community beach cleanup. Participants under 18 will need a waiver signed by their parent/guardian and children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bond with the community and help maintain our beloved seaside. See you there!
