David with local chef Ramon Velasquez
A new restaurant from local Santa Barbara chef and Michelin Bib Gourmand winner Ramon Velasquez is making its way to Montecito! The restaurant, Alma Fonda Fina, will serve elevated Mexican seafood cuisine, bringing a new and unique flavor to Coast Village Road. Located on the corner of the Montecito Country Mart, the menu will feature Velasquez’s award winning ceviche and local citrus-blended margaritas.
Ramon also owns the popular Corazón Cocina and Corazón Comedor in Downtown Santa Barbara, which serves Mexican meals and street food that is both innovative and familiar. David recently ran into his friend Ramon, who let us know we can expect a soft opening in the coming week. You will definitely want to give Alma Fonda Fina a try, so stay tuned for it’s opening!
