Join the Architectural Foundation of Santa Barbara for their 39th annual Kids Draw Architecture Sketch Session! Kids will have the opportunity to observe and sketch the historical architecture of Santa Barbara, with the help of local architects and artists there to guide them. The event will take place at Casa de la Guerra on Sunday May 18, from 1-3pm. The session is entirely free, with all drawing materials provided. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to develop their creative skills and learn about Santa Barbara architecture!
The Architectural Foundation of Santa Barbara supports a variety of educational programs that promote quality in architecture, art, and design, and fosters understanding of our built environment. AFSB began their Kids Draw Architecture program to enrich community awareness of the built environment by encouraging children to sketch local landmarks. A Kids Draw Architecture calendar and gallery exhibit will feature the artwork from this year's session.
