Santa Barbara is warming up, the crowds are coming out, and it's time to celebrate the Fourth of July! This year, there are a variety of activities in store for residents and visitors to enjoy all day long and we’re excited to share our guide to celebrating Independence Day in Santa Barbara!
Fourth of July Celebration at West Beach
Every year, the Santa Barbara Waterfront and Parks & Rec Departments host a Fourth of July Celebration at West Beach. Enjoy live music and dance performances, and shop at the many food and vendor booths on the Cabrillo Boulevard sidewalk. We recommend grabbing a spot on the beach or the grassy area with friends and family for picnics and activities all day long. The celebration will be capped off with a stunning, 20 minute professional fireworks show at 9 PM.
Prime Time Band Concert at the Courthouse
Santa Barbara’s Prime Time Band will perform a free outdoor concert at the Courthouse’s Sunken Gardens. Enjoy a festive musical lineup from the 75+ member band and special guest vocalist Anikka Abbott from 5 - 6 PM.
The Goleta Valley Historical Society will host their 50th Annual Old Fashioned from 11 AM - 4 PM. The festivities will include activities the whole family will love, including tractor rides, face painting, live music, shopping and food!
Head to Montecito to watch the “Biggest Little Parade” and join the grand picnic in the park. The patriotic parade begins at 11:30 AM in Upper Manning Park and makes its way to Lower Manning Park by noon, where you can enjoy food trucks, music, games, contests, and more!
We hope everyone has a fun and wonderful holiday in Santa Barbara!
