DK Group's Guide to Easter in Santa Barbara
With Easter Sunday right around he corner, we wanted to share some of our favorite traditions and recommendations for spending Easter in Santa Barbara.
1) Easter Morning Mass:
One of David's favorite Easter traditions to do with his family is Easter morning mass at the Santa Barbara Mission Church. The Mission Church and parish choir will be hosting three morning services, including two indoor services at 7:30am and 9:00am, and one outdoor service at 11am. The church fills up fast, so be sure to get their early so you don't miss out on this special event.
2) Brunch at the Ellwood:
Goleta's newest beachside restaurant, The Ellwood, recently introduced their brunch menu. Head over after Easter service and enjoy delicious food and drinks as you take in the stunning ocean views. We had the chance to get an exclusive look at the Ellwood earlier this year- click here to learn more!
3) Saturday Easter Egg Hunt:
Bring your kiddos and baskets to the Great Egg Hunt at Elings Park, a free Easter event open to the public. The event includes an egg hunt with thousands of eggs for kids to collect, face-painting, a bounce castle, and a coffee truck for the parents. The event will take place on Saturday 19th (the day before Easter) at 9:30am with three scheduled egg hunts divided by age.
4) Easter at El Encanto:
If you're looking for an all in one Easter day event, Devin recommends the Easter Breakfast, Brunch & Egg Hunt at Belmond Hotel's El Encanto restaurant. Perfect for families, this event invites you to experience beautiful Riviera and garden views while enjoying an á la carte buffet and children's Easter Egg Hunt. Click here to make your reservations.
DK Group wishes you and yours a joyous Easter holiday!
