The 76th Annual Santa Barbara International Orchid Show returns to Earl Warren Showgrounds this weekend, March 8th - 10th. Enjoy the gorgeous floral arrangements and award-winning orchids, watch potting demonstrations, and even buy your very own orchid to take home and care for. For a unique evening experience, Orchids After Dark offers you special access to the exhibit, complete with beverages and music, away from the daytime bustle.
With its ideal, mild climate, Santa Barbara’s flourishing orchid industry has produced more orchids than any other region in the country. The forerunner to the Orchid Show first occurred in 1945, and for decades since commercial growers and hobbyists from all over the world have come to Santa Barbara to showcase their beautifully grown orchids at the International Orchid Show. If you are a fan of orchids and botany, or just looking for something fun to do this weekend, the Orchid Show is a must-see event with a rich Santa Barbara history!
The Santa Barbara International Orchid Show will take place at Earl Warren Showgrounds from March 8th - 10th, 9 AM - 5 PM. Orchids After Dark will take place on Saturday, March 9th from 6 PM to 9 PM.
Tickets are $20 for general admission or $30 dollars for a 3-day pass.
