March is Women’s History Month! To show our appreciation for the amazing women in this community, we will be spotlighting a women-owned business every week this month.
This week’s local business spotlight is rabbit, a business dedicated to providing premium and sustainable running apparel for all runners at every skill level. Conceived in 2013, co-owners Jill Deering and Monica DeVreese sought to create running clothes that looked and felt amazing. Both Jill and Monica are avid runners themselves, with strong backgrounds in business. Together they combined their passions to build a brand and community that encapsulates the spirit of running and the California lifestyle. After just eight years on the scene, rabbit has cemented themselves as a much-loved and reputable brand in the industry, becoming one of the largest independent running specialty apparel brands in the world.
rabbit provides a variety of specialized products including running tees, tanks, jackets, shorts, tights, and more! We are big fans of rabbit and can attest to the excellent quality of their products and service. Our very own David Kim even modeled for them (see photo above)!
Jill and Monica view themselves and their community as dreamers, and they strive to meet the unique running goals of each of their customers. The rabbit, featured in their name and logo, is a pacemaker and symbolizes agility, adaptability, and luck - all qualities that perfectly represent their business and mission.
