This Sunday December 8th, head down to Santa Barbara’s waterfront to celebrate the 38th Annual Parade of Lights! This unique harbor parade will begin with a Winter Wonderland on the pier, where families can enjoy holiday elves, tons of snow, goodie bags, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. In the evening, a lovely tree lighting ceremony with choir singing will take place, followed by the main boat parade, featuring around 30 local boats beautifully illuminated by festive holiday lights and decorations. The event will be capped off with a dazzling fireworks display by West Beach.
Full schedule of events:
3:00 PM - Winter Wonderland on Stearns Wharf
3:30 PM - Stand up paddlers and kayakers in festive attire will sail through the harbor
5:00 PM - Tree lighting ceremony with holiday singing by the Dos Pueblos Jazz Choir on Stearns Wharf
5:30 PM - Illuminated watercraft parade sailing from Leadbetter Beach to Cabrillo Pavilion, then back to Stearns Wharf
7:00 PM - Fireworks by West Beach
